New web service integration will initially extend to a set of C.A.R.-approved client-facing forms
FRASER, Mich., May 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- zipLogix™, the industry leader in transaction management software and creators of zipForm®, today announced a partnership with Glide that will enable property sellers to complete the Transfer Disclosure Statement and related California disclosure forms electronically for the first time ever. Brokers and agents in California who are members of C.A.R. will be able to provide clients with a faster, more accurate, and more intuitive way for completing disclosure forms.
Glide Forms, the Glide application coming to C.A.R. users of zipForm® Plus, provides a step-by-step TurboTax®-like interface for sellers to securely and digitally input their disclosure information. The intuitive wizard makes it significantly easier for sellers to answer questions about their property, ensures all relevant information is included, and provides sellers with clarifications on what a question is asking for whenever needed.
By increasing the completeness and accuracy of seller-submitted disclosure forms, the combination of Glide’s software with the zipForm® Plus transaction management system saves C.A.R. real estate professionals and their clients time, reduces risk, and modernizes this important step in the listing process.
“We’re excited to partner with Glide and offer Glide Forms functionality to C.A.R. members as a part of zipForm® Plus,” said zipLogix™ CEO Scott Strong. “We believe real estate professionals and their clients will benefit from this all-digital approach to sellers’ disclosure form completion and submission.”
“There are more than 400,000 property owners struggling through these forms manually each year in California,” said Sebastian Tonkin, CEO, Glide. “We’re excited to put an end to this headache for everyone, and we see our partnership with zipLogix™ as an important first step toward enabling a more modern client experience for real estate professionals everywhere.”
“The Glide interface has delivered a better client experience than trying to send handwritten forms back-and-forth and then explaining that there was missing information over the phone,” said Ruth Krishnan, a real estate agent for Paragon working in San Francisco who used Glide during the beta period. “I also felt that the seller was spending more time reading the disclosure questions and really answering things more thoroughly. This in turn provided more complete and accurate information for buyers. Even in the case they can make it face-to-face I will probably still make it part of our disclosure review meeting.”
Fraser, Mich.-based zipLogix™, creators of zipForm®, is a technology company created by, owned by and working for REALTORS® to improve productivity and efficiency industry wide. Its transaction management software, which includes zipForm® Plus, zipTMS® and zipVault®, automates and simplifies the repetitive and complex steps of real estate transactions, and is available as a National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Transaction Management Benefit to more than 1.3 million REALTORS® nationwide.
