Craig McConnon of the McConnon Group has announced the latest targets set for the company for Quarter 2 in 2018. The main targets are to find locations in Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, Oxford, Luton and Cheltenham. The idea is to cover the majority cities across the whole of the UK and to become the biggest DJ and lighting provider across the UK.
Craig McConnon talking from the company headquarters in London added “I love having targets and these new targets give us something to aim for. Over the last few months, we have secured locations in Leicester, Nottingham and more recently Sheffield so we are definitely growing fast as a company. Our focus over this quarter and until the end of 2018 is to add more locations just above London and just before the Midlands. We have not really done any real searches in these areas so work is literally starting now”.
The Craig McConnon Group still only operates in a handful of locations apart from their headquarters in London, but this is growing and growing each month. The company has a target of adding 1-2 new locations each month and is highly ambitious about covering most of the cities across the UK. The company already has a team of over 30 professionals and plans to keep increasing their staff as well. The idea is to have a local DJ within each city and Craig McConnon himself will also DJ at any of these gigs if he is booked as well.
Craig McConnon continued by saying “I am hopeful that we can add one of these new locations fairly soon. We have a strong management team who are focused with this project and they have viewings booked at event locations in all of these cities across this week and next week. Typically, our management team normally carries out a site inspection beforehand, and if they like the location, I will normally go for the second site inspection, and if all is well, we would then make an offer on that specific location. Most of the locations we sign on on a long term lease but we are not against actually buying the locations as well”.

Craig McConnon continued “The idea is to have a local resident DJ for each venue and they would traditionally be the DJ responsible for the events. All the DJs are managed by myself and there will also be an option to book myself to DJ in any venue in the UK subject to my own personal availability. At the moment, I have a waiting list of around 6 months so those who do want to hire me will need to book well in advance. It will also be good for me as I can experience other venues that we have and it also takes me out of London too”.
Craig McConnon ended by saying “We are extremely motivated as a company and we are very hungry to succeed. Each quarter our management team puts together optimistic targets but we like to think big and aim high. I always believe the skys the limit with the Craig McConnon Group and I really want us to be a major player in this field. As we grow it is also slightly daunting as there is a lot of management work to do, but I am grateful to our management team which have been superb. For the time being, we are growing at a great rate and I cannot wait to add yet another location to our books.
