Today, TDC A/S announces that Group CEO and President Pernille Erenbjerg will resign as Group CEO and President no later than 31. December 2018.
Pernille Erenbjerg has informed the Board of Directors that she has decided to resign from her position as Group CEO and President in TDC A/S no later than 31 December 2018, and hence is prepared to support the new owners in a transition period until a new Group CEO has been appointed.
“As our new owners will now be embarking on a new strategy, which involves splitting the Danish Company into separate units, I feel now is the right time for me to step down and start the process of passing on the baton to someone else. I am very proud of the results we have achieved and I feel a strong sense of duty to ensure that the Company undergoes this transition phase in the best possible way, which is why I have agreed with the new Board of Directors to stay on as CEO in a transition period to help implement the new strategy and business structure,” says CEO of TDC, Pernille Erenbjerg.
The newly appointed chairman of the Board of Directors in TDC Mike Parton says:
