Agency Nabs Best of Collateral, People’s Choice, and Judges Award

PALM DESERT, Calif., May 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cord Media Company, the West Coast’s premier full-service marketing and advertising agency specializing in casino, hospitality, real estate and homebuilder clients, earned 20 ADDY Awards from the Desert Cities branch of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) at its annual awards dinner recently held at Desert Willow Golf Resort.

Cord Media claimed one of the evening’s most prestigious awards, Best of Collateral, for its “The Pride of the Desert” brochure created on behalf of The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. The agency also took home a Judges Award for its video of BIGHORN’s new clubhouse, plus two People Choice Awards for its “Anything Your Heart Desires” print ad for Stuft Pizza Bar and Grill and The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens’ “Year of the Giraffe” billboard.

“These awards speak to the top-shelf talent and collaborative efforts of our entire staff, from the creative directors and graphic designers to the copywriters and account executives,” said Cord Media President Jaci Fitzsimonds. “Our job is to provide creative solutions that accomplish our clients’ goals, so we’re proud to have our hard work recognized by the local chapter of AAF. In the end, we’re only as successful as our clients.”

ADDYs are bestowed to local entrants for superior creative that aired or was published in the prior year, by a panel of advertising creative executives. On a national level, the AAF represents the true spirit of creative excellence from entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world, acknowledging extraordinary men and women who have made significant contributions to advertising and society, while raising the standards and level of professionalism in the industry.
