Halmont Properties Corporation First Quarter Results

TORONTO, May 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HALMONT PROPERTIES CORPORATION (TSX-V:HMT) announced today that net income to common shareholders for the three months ended March 31, 2018 was $486,000 as compared to net income of $380,000 for the three months ended March 31, 2017.

Subsequent to March 31, 2018, Halmont purchased a commercial office building located at 221 Yonge Street in Toronto, Ontario for $5.5 million.

The book value of each common share, based on the Company’s December 31, 2017 IFRS appraisals and including the net income earned in the first quarter, was 48¢ per share as at March 31, 2018.
