Lever Unveils New Feature to Help Companies Track and Measure Diversity and Inclusion Hiring Efforts

Lever’s EEO Survey Automatically Collects Diversity Information From Entire Candidate Pool – Even Those Who Don’t Submit Applications


SAN FRANCISCO, June 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lever, the recruiting software for more than 1,500 leading companies around the world, today unveiled a new feature to help organizations track and measure their diversity and inclusion hiring efforts.

Available to all Lever customers, Lever’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) survey is an easy way for companies to efficiently collect diversity information from their entire candidate pool. In addition to asking EEO questions to support diversity and inclusion efforts during the application process, with Lever’s EEO survey, companies also have the ability to automatically survey candidates who never submit applications – such as sourced candidates and referrals. As a result, companies can finally capture complete records of their diversity and inclusion hiring activity without being burdened by manual processes or constrained by incomplete datasets.

Lever’s EEO survey feature automatically sends a brief questionnaire to candidates via email when the candidate moves to or past a selected stage within a company’s hiring pipeline. For example, companies can choose to trigger the survey when a candidate makes it to the phone screen phase. Candidates receive a link to the survey in their inbox, and have the option to submit gender, race, and veteran status information. U.S. federal contractors may also collect disability status. Once the survey is completed, companies can use the resulting data to help measure the success of their diversity hiring efforts – a top priority for many Lever customers.
