Krewe Energy Drills Successful Wells in Lake Long and Timbalier Bay Fields


COVINGTON, La., June 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Krewe Energy, LLC, (“Krewe Energy”) a privately held independent oil and gas exploration and production company based in Covington, Louisiana, announced today that it recently completed the successful drilling of its Tuna Prospect – SL-328 #32 well, located in Krewe’s Lake Long Field, and the SL-192 #334 well located in Timbalier Bay field, both of which are in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana.

The SL-328 #32 was drilled as a directional well to a depth of 11,150 feet. The well was spud on May 8, 2018 and logged a total of 108 feet of oil and gas pay. The well is currently being dually completed with production commencing in early July.

In addition, the Company sidetracked the SL-192 #334 in its Timbalier Bay field and encountered 54 feet of oil and gas pay.  The sidetrack has been initially completed in the D-1 sand, with a production rate of 442 barrels of oil per day and 174 thousand cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 20/64 inch choke.
