Annual Ticketing Conference moves to new host hotel


SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn., July 03, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ticket Summit, the leading conference and trade show for ticketing and live entertainment professionals, will hold its annual event at Caesars Palace Las Vegas July 16-18, 2018. This is the first time that the annual event, which is presented by TicketNetwork and DTI Management, will be held at Caesars Palace. Previous conferences have been held at The Venetian, ARIA, and Bellagio.

The three-day conference kicks off on Monday, July 16 at 4 PM with the Networking Cocktail Party. This annual event, presented by Event Tickets Center, is a perennial favorite among attendees and brings the ticketing industry together to network.

The event will feature two keynote panels. On Tuesday, July 17 at 1:30 PM, Worldwide Trends in Live Events will bring together experts from the sports and live events entertainment industry for a discussion about trends in ticketing. Panelists include Shawn Doss, VP of Business Development, Elevate Sports Ventures; Todd Fleming, Vice President and General Manger, Legends; David Marcus, EVP, Head of Music, Ticketmaster; and Bryan Perez, CEO & President, AXS.  

The second keynote, The Ticketing Industry, will wrap up the conference on Wednesday, July 18 at 3:30 PM. That panel will feature leaders from all major secondary ticket marketplaces for a discussion of the industry and trends affecting the market. The conference schedule of panels begins on Tuesday, July 17, with Online Marketing: Improve Your Brand. Other panels on Tuesday include Managing Your Inventory, The Future of the Secondary Market presented by Broker Genius, and Inside College Sports, a new offering focused on the unique challenges of ticketing college events.

Wednesday panels include Legislative Trends in the Ticketing Industry, featuring a call from Congressman Bill Pascrell, NJ—9th, Combating Fraud, Managing a Growing Brokerage, and a panel from Ticketmaster Resale on their technology and products.

Ticket Summit will also bring back its popular Workshops for Entrepreneurs, a series of hands-on workshops on topics such as insurance, legal concerns, strategic planning, leadership, and more. Google will also present The Google Approach to Ticketing, an interactive discussion of the search giant’s ticketing policies.
