Family Office Exchange Gathered Family Office Executives in Chicago to Discuss Top Concerns Affecting the Industry

The FOX Family Office Forum and FOX Family Security Workshop were held in Chicago on July 17-19

CHICAGO, Aug. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Family Office Exchange (FOX), a global learning and networking community of enterprise families and their key advisors, gathered more than 100 family office executives for two events held in July: The FOX Family Office Forum, followed immediately by the FOX Family Security Workshop, a new FOX program.

“Our attendees represented a wide range of Family Office roles including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Controller, Legal Counsel, and more,” said Alexandre Monnier, President of Family Office Exchange. “The top two concerns that they are facing this year include reacting to the new tax legislation and managing the evolving security landscape.”

The Forum and Workshop provided an opportunity to explore these issues through engaging learning sessions with industry experts and peer networking. Topics covered include:

  • A tax and estate update showing examples of how clients are handling the new tax environment.
  • Guidelines and key considerations for selecting technology for the family office.
  • A discussion of the increasing environmental, economic, geo-political, and cyber risk and the implications for planning.
  • The latest thinking on cyber, personal, and physical security concerns for family offices.
