Cincinnati, OHIO, Sept. 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IncludeHealth, an internationally awarded digital health & wellness company, announced today the formation of its Medical Advisory Board (MAB) to aid in expanding the Company’s current operations, technology advances and initiatives in the preventative medicine, health and wellness space. Renowned neurosurgeon and University of Cincinnati College of Medicine professor Dr. John M. Tew helped found the board, which is tasked with developing and broadening the medical applications and research aspects of IncludeHealth’s digital platform. Under him, the board will specifically evolve the scope and applicability of IncludeHealth’s technology in the areas of exercise, nutrition, social connectivity and life purpose.

“The vision for the IncludeHealth MAB is to diversify the thinking and further the health capabilities and initiatives to drive substantial impact in the medical and wellness industries,” said Dr. Tew. “The best companies have boards that push them to be the best they can be, and we hope to do this for the IncludeHealth team.”

Dr. Tew is internationally renowned for his more than 45 years of medical leadership as a neurosurgeon at the Mayfield Clinic, as well as his work in cerebrovascular disease, brain tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, and Chiari malformations. The first Frank H. Mayfield Chair for Neurological Surgery, he was essential to the development of the University of Cincinnati Department of Neurosurgery where he was Chairman and a professor for two decades before co-founding the UC Neuroscience Institute. His work has been published in nearly 200 peer reviewed medical publications, and he remains strongly connected and involved with the UC College of Medicine as a tenured professor of neurosurgery, while also providing consultative services to the international neurosurgery community.

“We were thoughtful & diligent in launching our Medical Advisory Board, and are honored to have Dr. Tew be a formal part of IncludeHealth. We believe Dr. Tew is an ideal fit, as he brings a tremendous wealth of neurological experience and knowledge in the health and wellness space,” said Ryan Eder, founder of IncludeHealth. “Dr. Tew’s leadership in the medical community is invaluable and we look forward to working together in the relentless pursuit of providing transformative technology in health & wellness.”
