St. Petersburg, Fla. , Oct. 03, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today on YouTube, US Federal Contractor Registration released its "Why Should I Partner With the US Government?" video. At the length of roughly four minutes long, the video asks its viewers to reflect on the symbolism of the American flag. USFCR Multimedia Specialist, David Rockwell is the featured narrator of the clip. In it, he goes through the various concepts and ideas represented from the country's banner.

Featuring a juxtaposition of daily occurrences and historical moments featuring the flag, the video is meant to inspire thought about the United States' most prominent symbol. The content also dives into the role that American businesses have toward keeping the fabric of the country together. This especially ties into the economic relief efforts of the U.S. government during the recession, government contractors, as well as their role in various efforts toward the public good including disaster relief and restoring infrastructure.

Toward the end of the clip, government contracting is offered as a solution for businesses looking to weather an economic downturn. David mentions that during such times, the government spends more money in an attempt to stimulate the economy. Much of this extra spending goes toward paying government contractors, many of whom are small businesses.

US Federal Contractor Registration (USFCR) is the world's largest third-party government registration firm. They have helped thousands of entities translate their capabilities into the U.S. Government's language and systems with the Simplified Acquisition Programbid training, and proposal writing services. They not only register companies on their behalf in SAM, but also have pioneered the Advanced Procurement Portal (APP). APP shows active and historical federal business opportunity information in the same place, simplifying market research. Active federal buyers and vendors are not only cataloged in APP but also are also using the system, creating a powerful network. Businesses who partner with USFCR will be able to dedicate their complete effort toward their performance on a contract, rather than the acquisition of it.
