NEW YORK, Oct. 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Feedvisor, the “AI-first” company that helps online retailers and brands build and expand their businesses on Amazon, today announced the appointment of Kal Raman, chief digital officer at Samsung, and David Karnstedt, digital media veteran and former Efficient Frontier CEO, to its board of directors, effective immediately. The two seasoned executives will advise Feedvisor in its mission to enable brands and retailers to succeed on Amazon through the application of AI-powered pricing, operational actions, and strategic business insights and analytics.
“At Feedvisor, our collective passion is analyzing the real-time data flowing in and out of our customers’ Amazon storefronts, and then providing them with strategic insights and enabling them to respond in real-time to constantly changing market conditions,” said Victor Rosenman, CEO, Feedvisor. “With Kal’s comprehensive insight into the opportunities and challenges of our digital ecosystem and David’s extensive background in digital marketing, each will be instrumental in advising our leadership team as we continue navigating the rapidly evolving Amazon landscape.”
Currently the Chief Digital Officer at Samsung, Raman previously held executive roles as CEO at Xome and Drugstore.com, as well as chief operating officer at Groupon. He also previously led teams at both Walmart and Amazon, where he served as director of information systems and senior vice president of marketing and retail technology, respectively. As a member of the board of directors, Raman’s extensive knowledge of e-commerce trends and data applications will be a critical asset to the continued growth of Feedvisor.
“Today’s e-commerce landscape is quickly transforming into one that demands powerful insights from AI-driven platforms,” said Raman. “Feedvisor’s unparalleled analytical capabilities and strategic real-time optimizations empower brands and retailers to succeed in the e-commerce space today.”
Karnstedt served as Efficient Frontier’s CEO prior to the acquisition of Adobe Systems, where he served as senior vice president for media and advertising and was instrumental in establishing the company’s leadership in multichannel ad buying and cross-platform optimization. Also serving as a board member of Demandbase, Karnstedt’s extensive digital media expertise will be a critical asset in his role with Feedvisor.
“E-commerce is truly the next frontier for digital media, and there is no place where that convergence is more apparent than on Amazon,” said Karnstedt. “I was drawn to Feedvisor because of the team’s dedication to helping retailers and brands succeed on Amazon through the savvy application of its algorithm-driven platform. I’m beyond confident in Feedvisor’s long-term vision and am excited to advise them as they continue delivering the best possible business solutions to brands and retailers on Amazon.”
