Frey Farms Launches New Beverage Line of Aguas Frescas


The frozen juices are all natural and come in original flavors like watermelon cucumber and strawberry lemon

KEENES, Ill., Oct. 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Frey Farms, one of the nation’s largest growers of fresh produce, will introduce a new brand of products, Sarah’s Homegrown, named for trailblazing founder, farmer, and CEO Sarah Frey. The first retail offering will be a line of frozen aguas frescas made with real fruit and all-natural ingredients. The brand will extend to many of the existing Frey Farms fresh produce offerings as well.

Frey Farms formulates and distributes custom craft beverages and recently mainstreamed aguas frescas in partnership with Subway, by creating and nationally-testing custom craft blends made with locally and regionally-sourced farm ingredients. The bold move by the sandwich chain has not gone unnoticed as mega retailers such as Walmart will offer the branded version of Sarah’s Homegrown craft aguas frescas.

Frey was inspired by her memories of summers on her family farm when she created the Sarah’s Homegrown aguas frescas line.
