LUBBOCK, Texas, Nov. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A West Texas optometry center has opened its second office in Lubbock. The VisionCenter of West Texas has announced that its new location at 12122 Salisbury Boulevard is now receiving patients. According to Dr. Nolan C. Riley, one of the clinic's four optometry practitioners, the second will provide area residents with greater convenience and readier access to a wide range of optometric care services. "It's our goal to make ourselves as available as possible to the Lubbock families who need high-quality eye care," says Dr. Riley. "We're simply taking a tradition for excellence and growing it outward."
The original office of this eye care center, whose motto is "Care Beyond Vision," was established in 1991. The Central Lubbock office, located at 3104 Indiana Avenue, has received KCBD's "Best of the West" award for eye care on several occasions. Dr. Riley states that the second office will continue to uphold the ongoing standard of care maintained by the original location. "It's the same variety of primary eye care services, administered by experienced, caring optometrists who understand the ocular needs and challenges faced by Lubbock residents of all ages," he says.
The optometrist notes that bringing the new office to par with its predecessor has involved equipping it with similar tools, technologies, and equipment. The VisionCenter of West Texas has always provided diagnostic services such as comprehensive eye exams, including eye function testing and retinal evaluation equipment, as well as a range of corrective lenses that include eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. The new office, notes Dr. Riley, will offer all of the same services and techniques as the Central Lubbock office. He emphasizes that patients need not worry about which location will better serve their eye and vision needs, saying, "Whichever office the patients choose, we want to make sure they're experiencing the same care and being offered the same options."
Dr. Riley adds that the South Lubbock branch of The VisionCenter of West Texas will also provide same accessories and assistance as the Central Lubbock branch. These include items such as lens cleaners, contact lens solution, eyeglass cases, designer frames, and professional fitting at the hands of the clinic's experienced opticians. Customers are encouraged to make use of this part of the office on a walk-in, as-needed basis.
Operating hours for our Central Lubbock office are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesdays and 8:30 am to 1:00 pm on Fridays.
