Seven-Figure Investment Package to Spur Product Development, Sales and Support to Enhance Public Safety

Fremont, CA, Nov. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE -- V5 Systems will use a seven-figure investment from Decathlon Capital Partners to advance development of the company’s award-winning self-powered edge computing technology providing solutions to expand Safe and Smart City initiatives. Funds will also aid the company in expanding sales and customer support.

V5 Systems has developed turnkey security solutions including video surveillance, license plate reading and gunshot detection built on their outdoor self-powered computing platform for a broad range of industries. Technology includes artificial intelligence running at the edge (on the device itself) enabling real-time alerts and cloud computing enabling rapid product scalability; all helping to easily expand the Industrial IoT (Internet of Things) in the outdoors.
