Quantum Health Grows Enterprise-wide Clinical Solutions; Names Dr. Mike Sokol as New Senior Vice President of Clinical Strategy


Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quantum Health, Inc., a consumer navigation and care coordination company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, recently announced that Michael C. Sokol, M.D., M.S. has been named senior vice president of clinical strategy. Dr. Sokol will act as a senior clinical strategist for Quantum Health’s clients and consultant partners. He will continue to focus on leading the development of innovative clinical care coordination solutions at Quantum Health.

Dr. Sokol’s experience includes some of the most well-known companies in the healthcare industry. Previously, he served as Chief Medical Officer at WebMD Health Services, where he delivered health and wellness strategies and solutions to employers and health plans. Prior to that, he has held executive roles at Merck, Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline, where he focused on population health and disease management, value-based insurance design and healthcare quality improvement.

Dr. Sokol is board certified in preventive medicine and has a degree in epidemiology, focusing on health services and outcomes research. He earned his doctorate at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and Master of Science at the University of Maryland Graduate School. His work on studying influences on medication adherence and clinical outcomes has been published in numerous journals, including Journal of General Internal Medicine, Medical Care, Health Affairs and JAMA Internal Medicine.
