WSP Acquires Irwinconsult And Strengthens Its Property & Buildings Business In Australia


MONTREAL, Dec. 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WSP Global Inc. (TSX:WSP) (“WSP” or the “Corporation”) is pleased to announce that it has acquired Irwinconsult, a 210-employee Australian engineering company specializing in property and buildings.  

The Irwinconsult acquisition, which was financed using WSP’s available cash and credit facilities, is aligned with WSP’s 2015-2018 Strategic Plan. It will bolster WSP’s presence in Australia by increasing its expertise in property and buildings.
