Amid Triple Digit Revenue Growth, Viral Launch Continues to Build Out Senior Management Team

Indianapolis, Dec. 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Viral Launch, a leading provider of software and services that enable private-label and major brands to sell successfully on Amazon, today announced the appointment of Jenny Quinnette as its first chief financial officer (CFO).

Quinnette brings more than 15 years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic transitions, accounting, information technology and finance. A results-oriented executive with a strong background in finance and accounting leadership, Quinnette previously served as CFO at Onebridge, Indianapolis and director of finance and accounting at Allegient LLC, Indianapolis.

“This year, Viral Launch reached the next level in our journey to be the premier platform for selling on Amazon,” said Casey Gauss, co-founder and chief executive officer of Viral Launch.  “We need experienced executives to help manage our rapid growth effectively and Jenny is a tremendous addition to our senior management team.”

This appointment concludes the company’s most successful year and follows the appointment in August of Mitch Black as president and chief operating officer. In January, the company renovated and nearly tripled the size of its offices at 429 Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis. Despite the expansion from 3,500 square-feet to more than 11,000 square-feet, the company is ready to grow its footprint again. Viral Launch has more than doubled its staffing in the past year as it works toward a plan to grow by 250 workers by 2021.

“Cost-effectively creating demand, visibility and conversions on Amazon is becoming more complex and challenging every day as new sellers enter the hyper-competitive marketplace,” said Mitch Black, president and chief operating officer at Viral Launch. “Using our new software tools, sellers can improve the relevancy and ranking of their listings on Amazon, and ultimately sales.”

Amazon is the largest U.S. online retailer. This year, according to eMarketer, Amazon will capture 49.1 percent of the market. In addition, eMarketer predicts Amazon will generate $258.22 billion in U.S. retail ecommerce sales in 2018, up 29.2 percent over last year1.  By 2019, it forecasts Amazon Marketplace sales to account for over 70 percent of Amazon's overall U.S. online retail business.
