Retired Navy Commander to Lead Concurrent Technologies Corporation’s Installation Energy Program

Jennifer Tetatzin will provide CTC with high-level expertise and proven leadership

Johnstown, PA, Feb. 21, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Retired Navy Commander Jennifer Tetatzin has been named Senior Principal Program Advisor of Concurrent Technologies Corporation’s (CTC’s) Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) Installation Energy program.

Tetatzin, the former Director of Installation Energy in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Energy, Installations & Environment), will now be a leader in CTC’s Strategic Advisory Services group.

“Commander Tetatzin has tremendous experience and insight into the Navy and Marine Corps missions, challenges, and priorities,” said CTC’s Senior Director, Strategic Advisory Services, Susan Van Scoyoc. “Through her leadership and expertise, CTC is poised to deliver increasingly impactful value to our clients across the Department of Defense.”

Tetatzin has 20 years of experience in the Navy leading professionals in facilities investment, energy and utilities operations, and construction management. Most recently, she was responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide installation energy policy and investment programs for the Secretary of the Navy. Tetatzin led innovation, security, mobility and efficiency initiatives in energy programs throughout the Navy and Marine Corps, working to ensure reliable and resilient utilities, lower cost transportation options and critical facilities operations to support maritime and aviation missions worldwide.

“Having served alongside soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines in three different combat zones, I know how important dependable installation support is to the operational forces,” said Tetatzin. “My first priority in this role is to update the energy program objectives to ensure every Marine Corps base has resilient, reliable and efficient utilities to provide power and water when and where needed.”

In September 2018, CTC won a competitively awarded contract to provide energy program expertise to the U.S. Marine Corps. This work falls within CTC’s Strategic Advisory Services group, which has supported the highest levels of government within the Department of Defense by helping them understand and plan for an uncertain future. CTC offers an integrated team of highly experienced analysts and engineers from diverse disciplines, all dedicated to improving policy, programming, planning, and implementation.
