LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Easterseals Southern California (ESSC), a nonprofit organization that assists more than 13,000 people in the region with developmental disabilities and other special needs, launched a powerful new ad campaign, “We Celebrate,” in recognition of the 100th anniversary of Easterseals and to encourage the public to join its celebration of inclusivity.
“Over the last 100 years, Easterseals has helped people with disabilities live, learn, work and play in their communities,” said Mark Whitley, president and CEO, Easterseals Southern California. “Our ‘We Celebrate’ campaign not only celebrates that legacy, but our hope is that it also inspires the public to join our mission – in both big and small ways – as we strive for everyone to be 100 percent included and 100 percent empowered.”
Easterseals champions all that makes us different, and yet, very much the same. That is why the new campaign features people of all abilities enjoying life’s moments that bring us all together. The powerful images are tied together by what Easterseals celebrates: We Celebrate: 100 Years of Disability Services; We Celebrate: Opportunity; We Celebrate: Love; We Celebrate: Growth; We Celebrate: Laughter; and We Celebrate: Family.
The campaign, which includes an impactful PSA, along with print, radio, digital and outdoor advertising, will continue to roll out throughout the year. To further encourage public support, the campaign also includes a social media component asking the public to, “Show Us How You Celebrate.” A gallery of the public’s photo submissions and information about the campaign is available at WeCelebrate.org.
The campaign was conceptualized and developed under the direction of the Los Angeles office of global advertising agency E/LA. “Over the last century, Easterseals has provided our communities with life-changing disability services, making everyday life moments a reality for people with disabilities.
