FIRST US BANCSHARES, INC. DECLARES CASH DIVIDEND

BIRMINGHAM, AL, Feb. 27, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First US Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) (Nasdaq: FUSB) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.02 per share.  The dividend is payable on April 1, 2019 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 12, 2019. 

“We are pleased to announce that, at its February 27 meeting, the Company’s Board of Directors approved a quarterly cash dividend to our shareholders,” stated James F. House, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.  “We have paid a quarterly cash dividend for nineteen consecutive quarters, and we remain committed to maintaining our strong capital base,” concluded Mr. House.
