MONTREAL, March 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Welcome Hall Mission, in collaboration with Les Anges de la Rue, Cégep de Maisonneuve and Votre Hygiéniste Dentaire, is proud to host ‘Journée de rêve’ where men and women who are experiencing homelessness can be pampered for a few hours. This special event will provide an extraordinary experience for those living the daily reality of the streets.
During this event, students will offer their services in dental and nursing care. Participants will also be treated to massage therapy, aesthetics, hairstyling, and even receive manicures, pedicures and makeup application. A photographer and a caricaturist will be on site to capture the experience, while musical artists will perform in the background. Welcome Hall Mission’s intervention workers will be available to provide advice and assistance to interested visitors. Even pets have been taken into consideration as their masters can benefit from a consultation on animal health. Food and clothing will be distributed at the end of the day.
