Lakewood, NJ, March 20, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kars4Kids is launching a spring fitness campaign to get young people off the couch and into a more active lifestyle. Now that the sun is shining and spring breezes are blowing, the national nonprofit is encouraging teens to become more physically active by giving away 50 Delia 27-speed hybrid bicycles. These bikes are guaranteed to move kids out the front door and on the road to adventure.

The Centers for Disease Control recommends that teens engage in at least 30 minutes of vigorous activity a day. To help young people meet this goal, between March 22 and June 21, 2019, Kars4Kids will give away three of these valuable bikes – which retail at $800 – each week. 

To win the bikes, teens between 14 and 19 years of age should share their fitness goals for the summer on the Kars4Kids campaign site and commit to adding 30 minutes of vigorous activity to their daily routine. To make it easier to meet these goals, Kars4Kids shares resources on the site that offer easy ways to incorporate vigorous activity into a daily routine, along with other tips to develop a healthy lifestyle.

We hope that the chance to win a top quality 27-speed hybrid bike will inspire all the kids who enter the drawing to be more active and explore the great outdoors.”

Hybrid bikes are built to transition from dirt bikes that can handle rough terrain to urban bikes.

Three lucky winners will be drawn every week, and it only takes one entry to qualify for all the drawings. The bikes will be shipped to the winners at no cost within the continental U.S.

Winners will be notified via email, and information will be posted on Facebook and Twitter.
