Meeting the growing need for AI managers

TORONTO, April 02, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Schulich School of Business at York University today officially launched a new Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence degree program. The new program, which begins in September 2019, is a 12-month career-focused degree that combines a broad range of advanced AI applications with business skills.

The Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence (MMAI) is specifically designed to prepare graduates who can manage the design and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions and technologies for businesses and other organizations. The program was designed in consultation with industry practitioners and The Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence, in order to gain a clear understanding of emerging trends in AI, as well as the skills and knowledge needed for graduates aspiring to successful careers in AI-related fields.

Schulich is seeking strong candidates with an undergraduate degree in disciplines such as Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Business, Biology, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Psychology or Neuroscience and with experience or a strong interest in coding. The School is currently accepting applications for the new program.

Prospective Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence students are also invited to attend the Program’s launch event at the Schulich School of Business on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
