In March 2019 AS Tallink Grupp transported 686 488 passengers, which is a 4.1% decrease compared to March 2018. The number of cargo units increased by 2.0% to 32 524 units and the number of passenger vehicles decreased by 5.9% to 76 016 units in the same comparison.
In the first quarter of the 2019 financial year (January - March) AS Tallink Grupp transported 1 855 772 passengers which is a 3.9% decrease compared to the previous year. The number of transported cargo units increased by 2.7% to 93 114 units and the number of passenger vehicles decreased by 3.7% to 214 087 units in the same comparison.

The following operational factors influenced the development in March 2019 and in the first quarter of the financial year:
FINLAND – SWEDEN
In the first quarter of the financial year cruise ferry Silja Symphony did not operate on the route for 14 days and cruise ferry Galaxy for 17 days due to scheduled maintenance.
ESTONIA – FINLAND
In the first quarter of the financial year shuttle vessel Star did not operate on the route for 14 days due to scheduled maintenance.
ESTONIA – SWEDEN
In the first quarter of the financial year cruise ferry Baltic Queen did not operate on the route for 42 days and cruise ferry Victoria for 14 days due to scheduled maintenance.
LATVIA – SWEDEN
In the first quarter of the financial year cruise ferry Isabelle did not operate on the route for a total of 10 days due service days and scheduled maintenance.
