Albany State University Welcomes Morehouse School of Medicine to Educate Teens on Prevention: Topics Range From Teen Pregnancy to Addiction
More than 200 Teens from Across Georgia will Spend the Day Learning Life-Saving Skills
ATLANTA – March 26, 2019 - The Morehouse School of Medicine Department of Community Health and Preventive Medicine, in conjunction with its Health Promotion Resource Center, will join Albany State University in hosting the Public Health Community Day. The 2019 Daniel S. Blumenthal Public Health Teen Conference is entitled, Making A Difference. This year’s event will focus on teenage prevention services; topics of teenage pregnancy, opioid use, bullying, HIV & AIDs prevention, sex trafficking, and suicide prevention.
