Mifflintown, PA, April 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Juniata Valley Financial Corp. (OTC Pink: JUVF), parent company of The Juniata Valley Bank, announces the appointment of Camie Harr as BSA Officer. Compliance, with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, remains a high priority in the banking industry and we are very pleased that Ms. Harr’s background has prepared her for this important role.
Ms. Harr joined Liverpool Community Bank in April 2013 as a Customer Service Teller. In September 2013, Ms. Harr was promoted to Bookkeeper/BSA Officer. On May 1, 2019, following The Juniata Valley Bank’s acquisition of Liverpool Community Bank, Ms. Harr transitioned to the role of Compliance Specialist. Now, we are pleased that Ms. Harr will also care for the responsibilities of BSA Officer for The Juniata Valley Bank.
Ms. Harr obtained her Associates Degree in Accounting from Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) and her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH).
During racing season, Ms. Harr can be found at local go-kart tracks working and sometimes racing on Friday and Saturday evenings. Ms. Harr and her husband, Steve, reside in Richfield, PA.
