Seasoned finance leader joins largest non-emergency medical transportation broker

ATLANTA, April 23, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogistiCare, the nation’s largest non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker, and The Providence Service Corporation, today announced the appointment of Suzanne G. Smith as chief accounting officer. The 20-year plus industry veteran will be responsible for SEC filings and financial reporting, investor relations, consolidations, overseeing the organization’s treasury, and managing long-term debt and equity-backed securities transactions.

Smith joins LogistiCare and Providence from Cumulus Media, one of the nation’s largest broadcasting companies with 433 owned-and-operated radio stations. As chief accounting officer, she was responsible for financial reporting, payroll, external audits and more.

“Following our consolidation with LogistiCare, and their subsequent acquisition of Circulation, our financial team had a need for an experienced finance professional with an established track record in high-growth industries,” said Kevin Dotts, chief financial officer of The Providence Service Corporation and LogistiCare. “Suzanne is a tremendous asset to our company and one who can step in immediately to manage our finance and accounting needs.”
