Trakopolis Announces Fourth Quarter and Year-End Results


CALGARY, Alberta, April 30, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Trakopolis IoT Corp. ("Trakopolis" or the "Company") (TSXV: TRAK) is pleased to report its financial and operating results for the year ended December 31, 2018.

Fourth quarter and year-end financial highlights include:

  • Subscription sales of $4.7 million for the year ended December 2018, representing a 20% increase from the prior year.
     
  • Subscriber base increase of 2,323 for the twelve months ended December 31, 2018 which represents a 15% increase.
     
  • Enterprise customer segment represents 54% of monthly subscription revenue up from 44% in prior year.
     
  • Gross profit of $3.6 million for the twelve months ended December 2018, represents a 10% increase from the prior year. Gross profit for the fourth quarter was a 6% decrease from the prior year.
     
  • A net loss of $4.2 million was recorded for the year ended December 31, 2018, compared to a loss for the prior year period of $4.1 million. The net loss included a significant increase in finance expenses as a result of debt restructuring in the year.
