Conducted for the period between February 1, 2018 and January 31, 2019, the SOC 2 Type II audit examined Canadian Web Hosting’s compliance to industry best practices, covering controls, processes, and procedures. Upon completion, it was determined that its control activities were in compliance and Canadian Web Hosting displayed the ability to effectively operate.
This year, the AICPA, the governing body of the AT 101 SOC 2 Type II, implemented new criterion for SOC reports. While these additional new control objects were not required for this year’s report, Canadian Web Hosting opted to implement these new criterion in their current report making them one of the first companies in Canada to satisfy these requirements.
