Trakopolis Receives Initial Purchase Order from New Enterprise Customer in the Canadian Energy Sector

CALGARY, Alberta, May 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Trakopolis IoT Corp. (TSXV: TRAK) ("Trakopolis" or the "Company”) is pleased to announce it has received an initial purchase order for 197 units from a leading energy producer with operations in Northern Alberta.

Trakopolis CEO Brent Moore stated, “This initial purchase order marks the second enterprise win so far in 2019 and is a testament to our enterprise grade platform. We expect this account to materially expand throughout 2019 as the Canadian Energy sector continues to show signs of recovery.”

This tier 1 Energy company will deploy 3 different hardware devices to gain visibility into the location and status of heaters, generators, light plants, pickup trucks, Y switches in fluid transfer infrastructure and a variety of industrial pumps.

“Trakopolis recognizes the critical aspects of vendor qualification and the importance of this criteria for selecting a technology partner,” stated Trakopolis CTO Laine Hotte. “Working with a large enterprise customer requires detailed discussion and the evaluation of all aspects of our business, such as: physical facility and application access security, privacy policies, resilient data management strategies, compliance for sensitive data, platform availability and disaster planning. Hosting our platform within the Microsoft Azure environment gives us the tools to effectively manage all aspects of this infrastructure.”
