Yosemite Inspired Artist Celebrates National Love a Tree Day with Her Community and the Environment One Art Piece at a Time

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., May 17, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Artist Erica Diaz, in observance of National Love a Tree Day May 16, 2019, will raise awareness for environmental sustainability by releasing limited digital prints of Yosemite with proceeds going to the National Park Service.

Inspired by the beauty of Yosemite park, Diaz began drawing sketches of her favorite places. Some of her artwork reveals the famous Tunnel View, El Capitan, Half Dome and Tenaya Lake. She uses her love of nature to support the National Park community via her Sasquatch and Ink company.

“Yosemite is such a beautiful place filled with rivers, rocks to climb, hiking, camping, backpacking. People have it all there,” said Diaz.

It is the essence of Yosemite that drives Diaz to care about people and the environment.

“Sasquatch leaves no trace, people shouldn’t either,” said Diaz. A motto she feels all should follow when visiting our National Forests.
