The members of the Supervisory Board of Bombardier Transportation GmbH and Bombardier Transportation (Bahntechnologie) Holding Germany GmbH yesterday unanimously elected Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Grube to be their new Chairman. He succeeds the previous Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Wolfgang Tölsner, who stepped down from his role for personal reasons in April.
Among his roles, Prof. Dr. Grube is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG and Chairman of Lazard in Germany. He can point to a proud career in German industry and in the mobility sector. From 2009 to 2017 he was the Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bahn AG and from 2001 to 2009 he was a member of the board of DaimlerChrysler AG / Daimler AG.
