Connectivity Wireless Solutions Joins CBRS Alliance to Shape the Future of Private LTE Networks for Enterprises

ATLANTA, May 20, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Connectivity Wireless Solutions is excited to announce joining the CBRS Alliance, an organization dedicated to developing, marketing and promoting 4G and 5G solutions in the shared 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) band.

”We are pleased to welcome Connectivity Wireless Solutions to the CBRS Alliance,” said Alan Ewing, Executive Director of CBRS Alliance. “The knowledge and expertise that Connectivity Wireless brings to the table are extremely valuable to the ecosystem as we approach commercial deployments.”

The CBRS Alliance provides an industry platform for discussing opportunities and challenges in the field of shared spectrum. Opportunities such as the plethora of venue-specific services that can be enabled via the availability of spectrum for non-carrier entities as well as extra spectrum for commercial operators to carrier aggregate. And challenges including possible deployment complexities and the need for device modifications.

Connectivity Wireless joined the alliance with the belief that shared CBRS spectrum will become an engine for the growth of private networks and proliferation of additional in-building services, may it be in the eMBB, IoT, or URLLC application category.

“We are dedicated to setting the standard of excellence in designing, installing, and maintaining in-building wireless systems. Part of maintaining excellence in this industry is not only anticipating the wireless climate but playing a hands-on role in shaping its future when possible. Joining the CBRS Alliance will allow us to actively participate in this process,” said Nader Famili, SVP of Technology Planning and Development at Connectivity Wireless.

As a market leader in the design and deployment of in-building wireless (IBW) systems, Connectivity Wireless is committed to sharing its extensive expertise and vision to ensure the CBRS Alliance succeeds in its stated goal of driving shared spectrum technology development and evangelizing the merits of a vibrant shared spectrum ecosystem.

“We strive to couple world-class engineering with a sales team sensitive to customer needs and responsive customer service," Famili said. “Setting our customers up to succeed means staying ahead of their needs and being able to knowledgeably guide them to make the best technology decisions to meet their wireless connectivity needs for today and tomorrow – that is our primary goal with joining the organization.”
