Prime Day 2019 is widely expected to be the busiest shopping event ever for Amazon. Prime Day 2018 was Amazon’s biggest shopping event in their 25 year history at the time, with over 100 million products purchased by shoppers. Sales of smart home devices hit record numbers with more than one million such products sold on July 17 alone.
Prime Day this year is a 48-hour event, starting at midnight PT on Monday, July 15 and ending at 11:59 p.m. PT on Tuesday, July 16.
