Bombardier Transportation appoints Andy DeLeone as President of EMEAI Region


  • DeLeone to assume leadership of the EMEAI region, covering Switzerland, Italy, Nordic Countries, Iberia, the Middle East, Africa, and India

Mobility technology solution provider Bombardier Transportation today announced that Andy DeLeone has been appointed the new President of its Europe (Switzerland, Italy, Nordic Countries, Iberia), Middle East, Africa, and India region (EMEAI). Mr DeLeone will report directly to Bombardier Transportation President, Danny Di Perna and will have full responsibility for the EMEAI region’s business, including Customer Relationship Management, Sales, Services and Project Management.

Mr DeLeone joins Bombardier Transportation from General Electric, where he was CEO and Managing Director of GE Power India Limited. He studied Economics at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from Cornell University. He has lived and worked in various countries, including India, Switzerland, South Africa, and the US and will be based in Switzerland.
