ProTenn Pro-Women

Nashville, TN, Aug. 08, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

Today in our society, we see more and more women in leadership positions within their companies. According to the Center for American Progress (Nov. 20, 2018), the female population in the United States is currently 50.8%, and of that number, only 15-20% of them hold a leadership position. Why is this important? A primary reason is that women possess an EQ (emotional intelligence) capability statistically stronger than that of males, which makes the female presence of immense value to their respective professions (Ferry 2016).

“Women who take on leadership positions in my business are some of the strongest leaders we have in our company. We need diversity within our company.  Specifically, I have seen the women on our team bring new perspectives to the table. They are dynamic and it truly brings an energy into the room may otherwise be lacking.” –Andrew Barger, ProTenn Director of Operations

ProTenn encourages all employees to reach their career goals by taking advantage of the upward mobility opportunities that the company prides itself on. Currently, more than 20% of ProTenn’s leadership core is made up of hardworking, highly motivated women. One of our account managers, Emily Copeland, has raised the bar of the business recently with recruitment strategies, planning of charity events for the Nashville community, and is always willing to go the extra mile to do what it takes to succeed. In addition, Alice Antunes was recently promoted to the position of Account Manager. Whether she is in the office or spending time with her team, she is consistently a positive example and encourages coworkers to attain their goals. Last but not least, Nicole Le is yet another example of female leadership at ProTenn. In the past few weeks, Nicole has been working with the Human Resources department in order to broaden her skillset and take advantage of the cross-training opportunities that ProTenn offers its employees.

ProTenn does not put a limit on the growth potential of any team member. Barger believes growth only happens in a place with no limitations and guidance and challenges his employees to strive for their goals while being eager to learn about the business throughout their journey.  An opportunity is all you need to get the chance to expand your own knowledge, push yourself to achieve more than you could ever think was possible, and have a team that will support you through it all.
