Fagron settles with former owner of AnazaoHealth

Fagron today announces a settlement with the former owner of AnazaoHealth. In 2016, the former owner of AnazaoHealth started a lawsuit against Fagron claiming compensation of up to US$ 20 million in relation to the acquisition of AnazaoHealth (completed in May 2015). Fagron contested this claim. The confidential settlement agreement includes a payment by Fagron that does not qualify as material for Fagron.

Rafael Padilla, CEO of Fagron: “We are pleased to announce the settlement with the former owner of AnazaoHealth. Together with the settlement in principle with the US Department of Justice we announced in June and the agreement to sell HL Technology we announced in October, we were able to resolve all remaining legacy issues. Leaving these issues behind us does not only significantly reduce the uncertainty and risks, it also allows us to move forward and to take full advantage of the substantial growth opportunities in the market for personalized medicine.”

In the event of differences between the English translation and the Dutch original of this press release, the latter prevails.
