Matthews International Increases Quarterly Dividend


PITTSBURGH, Nov. 13, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Matthews International Corporation (NASDAQ GSM: MATW) announced that its Board of Directors declared, at its regularly scheduled meeting today, a dividend of $0.21 per share on the Company’s common stock, representing an increase of 5.0% to the Company’s dividend rate.

Joseph C. Bartolacci, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated: “Despite recent challenging market conditions in several of our businesses, this increase reflects the confidence of the Board in the Company’s growth strategies and strong operating cash flow.  This represents our 26th consecutive annual dividend increase since becoming a publicly-traded company.”

The dividend is payable December 9, 2019 to stockholders of record November 25, 2019.
