NBPE Announces Publication of Neuberger Berman’s Private Markets ESG Report and ESG Insights

NB Private Equity Partners Limited (“NBPE” or the “Company”), a closed-end private equity investment company, today announces the publication of Neuberger Berman’s (the parent company of the Investment Manager) inaugural NB Private Markets Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) Report which highlights Neuberger Berman’s commitment to ESG regarding its private markets investment platform. In addition, Neuberger Berman has published an ESG insight piece, which focuses on ESG investing in private markets for the long term.
Although not specific to NBPE, the inaugural ESG Report is an important overview of how ESG is integrated into investment practices in NB Private Markets. It includes case studies that highlight the Manager’s proprietary approach to incorporating ESG in the investment process as it relates to: direct investments (co-investment and private debt), as well as primary fund and secondary investments (the latter two are not directly relevant to NBPE’s portfolio). Finally, the ESG Report discusses Neuberger Berman’s commitment to important topics such as climate and diversity to give a complete understanding of the Manager’s platform.
