NeoVolta NV14 Recognized by Solar Power World as a Top Solar Storage Product of 2021

Third Consecutive Year the Safe, High-Capacity NV14 Has Been Recognized

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 08, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NeoVolta Inc. (OTCQB: NEOV) – Solar Power World, one of the solar industry’s leading media resources, has announced its 2021 Top Solar Storage Products. For the third year in a row, one of the products selected for this honor was the NeoVolta NV14 storage system.

Solar Power World once again recognized the NV14’s high capacity of 14.4 kilowatt-hours, expandable to 24 kWh with the optional NV24 add-on battery, as well as the system’s safe lithium iron phosphate chemistry and compatibility with AC or DC solar panels.

NeoVolta also introduced new upgrades for 2021:

  • Increasing the battery’s life from 4,000 to 6,000 cycles, one of the longest lifetimes available on the market. This translates to 16.5 years of useful life, based on a full charge and discharge, a 50% increase from 10.95 years.
  • Increased DC solar Amps per string from 18 to 22.
  • Faster disconnect grid relays.

“It’s a three-peat for our NV14 storage system,” said Brent Willson, CEO of NeoVolta Inc. “Our team is so proud to again be named one of Solar Power World’s Top Solar Storage Products. This prestigious award only motivates us to reach even higher in 2022.”

About NeoVolta - NeoVolta designs, develops and manufactures utility-bill reducing residential energy storage systems capable of powering your home even when the grid goes down. With a focus on safer Lithium-Iron Phosphate (LiFe(PO4)) chemistry, the NV14 is equipped with a solar rechargeable 14.4 kWh battery system, a 7,680-Watt inverter and a web-based energy management system with 24/7 monitoring. By storing energy instead of sending it back to the grid, consumers can protect themselves against blackouts, avoid expensive peak demand electricity rates charged by utility companies when solar panels aren’t producing, and get one step closer to grid independence. Customers can expand the NV14’s capacity to an industry-leading 24.0 kWh with the optional NeoVolta NV24 add-on battery. NeoVolta has added generator compatibility and is working on other industry leading improvements that will be announced soon.
