State of the Art Wireless Deployment at 63 Stores and 12 Distribution Centers Across U.S.
BATAVIA, Ill., April 01, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- High Wire Networks Inc. (the “Company” or "High Wire") (OTCQB: HWNI), announced today the start of a nearly $2 million wireless solution project, through a value-added reseller (VAR) partner, enhancing a supermarket chain’s wireless connectivity by deploying wireless surveys, infrastructure solutions and networking installations.
Effective immediately, High Wire will perform predictive wireless surveys at 63 stores and 12 distribution centers to verify readiness and requirements for hardware and cable installations. Upon completion, the Company’s field technicians and wireless experts will install thousands of cables, access points and Cradle Point antennas both inside and outside of the buildings. High Wire also will upgrade the network hardware for the stores, delivering SDWAN, firewalls, port switches and MDF/IDF to turn up and cutover the wireless networking solution.
High Wire’s project management team will coordinate resources and supplies to all 75 locations spread across the U.S and schedule the deployments during after normal business hours, allowing the grocery chain to operate without any disruptions.
