Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico Reports in March 2023 a Passenger Traffic Increase of 15.8% Compared to 2022


GUADALAJARA, Mexico, April 04, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V., (NYSE: PAC; BMV: GAP) (“the Company” or “GAP”) announces preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for the month of March 2023, compared with the same period of 2022.

For March 2023, the total number of terminal passengers at GAP’s 12 Mexican airports increased by 14.2%, compared to the same period in 2022. Guadalajara, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, and Tijuana presented an increase in passenger traffic of 19.1%, 15.4%, 14.6%, and 8.0% respectively, compared to March 2022. On the other hand, Montego Bay increased by 27.4% and Kingston by 38.1%, compared to 2022.

Highlights for the month:

  • Seats and load factors: The number of seats available during March 2023 increased by 17.3%, compared to March 2022; load factors for the month went from 80.6% in March 2022 to 79.7% in March 2023.
