Completion of change negotiations concerning Siili’s temporary layoffs

The change negotiations initiated by Siili Solutions on 28 April 2026, have been completed. These negotiations involved 311 employees.
As a result of the negotiations, the company has decided to temporarily lay off part of its personnel.
With regard to consultants, the temporary layoffs will concern those consultants for whom the employer is currently unable to provide billable client work. At the start of the temporary layoffs, the preliminary estimate is that approximately 20 consultants will be temporarily laid off on a full-time basis and approximately 10 on a part-time basis. Temporary layoffs can be implemented until the end of the year at the latest.
With regards to fixed employees and the company’s management, the temporary layoffs are estimated to affect 33 people, each of whom will be laid off temporarily for a period of three weeks during 2026.
“We will continue to focus on strengthening our sales and offering to better meet current customer needs. Unfortunately, temporary adjustments to our operations are necessary at this time to safeguard profitability,” says Siili’s interim CEO Markku Savusalo.
