Zeptive, Inc. develops vape detectors and indoor air quality sensors for K-12 schools, workplaces, hospitality properties, and other facilities. Zeptive today announced an automated reporting update to Fleet Insights, an existing feature of its vape detection platform. Fleet Insights Automated Reporting organizes alerts generated by Zeptive vape detectors into scheduled, organization-level reports for customers.
The updated reports show vape alert counts, configured locations or devices with the most alerts, and device-health issues that may need attention. Zeptive is making the update available immediately to all current and future customers at no additional cost through the Zeptive console and app.
Fleet Insights turns individual alerts into organization-level reports
Zeptive vape detectors send real-time alerts to designated staff when the system detects a potential event. Fleet Insights gives administrators and facility teams a broader view of that alert activity across locations, devices, and reporting periods.
Fleet Insights Automated Reporting generates a scheduled summary for a selectable 24-hour, 7-day, or 30-day period. The report links customers back to the Zeptive console when they need to review an event or device in more detail.
School districts can use Fleet Insights to compare alert counts across configured school locations and reporting periods. Workplaces and other multi-site organizations can use the same feature to review organization-wide activity without compiling separate event records manually.
What Zeptive Fleet Insights reports
Each automated Fleet Insights report includes:
- Vape alerts: Fleet Insights counts the vape alerts generated during the selected reporting period.
- THC alerts: Fleet Insights counts the THC alerts (included, and optionally enabled) generated during the selected reporting period.
- Battery alerts: Fleet Insights identifies devices reporting a battery condition that may need attention.
- Offline devices: Fleet Insights shows how many devices have gone offline.
- Alert hotspots: Fleet Insights summarizes the configured locations or devices generating the most vape alerts.
- Organization-wide activity: Fleet Insights displays total alert activity across the organization for the selected period.
- Console access: The report returns authorized users to the Zeptive console for detailed review.
“Zeptive vape detectors give customers real-time information about individual alerts, while Fleet Insights helps them review what is happening across an entire organization,” said Dr. Cindy Bistany, CTO and Co-Founder of Zeptive. “This update brings alert activity and device health into one scheduled summary, so schools and other organizations can spend less time compiling information and more time deciding what needs follow-up.”
Fleet Insights supports school and facility follow-up
Zeptive Fleet Insights helps authorized teams review where alerts are concentrated and whether alert patterns change over time. The same report shows whether a battery-powered device needs attention or a device has gone offline.
Monson High School shows how real-time alerts can turn a largely hidden vaping problem into information administrators can act on. Before installing Zeptive detectors, the school identified only one or two students per year for on-campus vaping. After installing two detectors, the system began identifying two to three incidents per week. “The alerts go straight to our phones, so we can be outside the bathroom before students even come out,” said Chris Fontaine, Principal of Monson High School. Fleet Insights builds on that alert data by giving customers a scheduled view of activity across locations and reporting periods.
Fleet Insights does not identify an individual or independently confirm the circumstances behind an alert. The feature organizes information produced by a customer's Zeptive vape detector deployment so administrators and facility teams can decide where further review may be needed.
