Cast & Crew Names Suraj Arora to Lead Newly Formed Client Experience Organization

Alongside its expanding digital tools, the company has created a dedicated organization of specialists to guide clients

BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 26, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cast & Crew, which has provided payroll and production services to the entertainment industry for 50 years, has named Suraj Arora as Senior Vice President of Client Experience to lead a new team responsible for managing the full client relationship. The team, known as the Client Experience Organization, unites the company's service functions under Arora, providing clients with a single organization accountable for their experience from start to finish. In his newly created role, Arora reports to Chief Revenue Officer Tanya Alfonso.

Across the industry, production teams are relying more than ever on digital tools for onboarding, timekeeping and payroll. At the same time, the rules governing that work, from tax incentives to labor agreements, are becoming more complex. Cast & Crew created the Client Experience Organization to address a pressing question: as software handles more of the business side of production, what role should people play? Its answer: an essential, more strategic role, with experienced people at every stage.

The new team is responsible for:

  • Getting new clients set up and running on Cast & Crew's tools
  • Managing ongoing client relationships
  • Training, education and self-service resources
  • Product support and technical guidance
  • Custom reporting, integrations and other specialized projects

The team is part of Cast & Crew's next chapter, which is being led by executives recruited from across entertainment and technology. That chapter is already underway, with continued investment in the company’s technology, including the Cast & Crew Unified Platform for film, television and streaming productions. The Client Experience Organization plays a central role, helping clients adopt new tools and make full use of them.

"Technology makes the routine parts of production easier, but it can't replace people who know the business," said Alfonso. "Whether it's an incentive application up against a deadline, a union rule at odds with the shooting schedule or a production moving to a new state, clients need a partner with real-world experience. That's what this new team is built to provide."

Arora has spent more than a decade building client experience and customer success organizations, with a focus on helping clients adopt new technology and derive lasting value. Before joining Cast & Crew, he held leadership roles at Amplify-Now, Snappy, Wrike and Medallia. He is based in Los Angeles.

"As technology does more, we believe the human side of the client experience is as important as ever," said Arora. "While everyone in our business says service matters, Cast & Crew has built an entire organization around it. I joined to lead that effort at a key point in the company's evolution. My job is to make sure every client has a team that understands their business and anticipates their needs, from the day they onboard to the day they wrap."
