Christina Lindbäck will take on the new position as Senior Vice President
Corporate Sustainability as of March 1st 2013 and will become a member of the
NCC Group management team. Christina is currently VP Environmental Affairs for
NCC Group.
“We will even further emphasize sustainability as an integrated part of NCC’s
long term strategy with Christina Lindbäck as part of the Group Management team.
Sustainability has been a prioritized area in NCC since a long time and it is
crucial to maintain and grow the business in the future. We have a strong
ambition to become one of the best companies in the field, says Peter Wågström,
CEO of NCC Group.

The responsibility also includes the ethical aspects of the business –
compliance, code of conduct and social responsibility. Sustainability comprises
the environmental, social and economic aspects of the business. It is not only
about NCC’s own efforts in the area but also very much about our stakeholders
and the societies future requirements. The design of our future societies will
have an impact on current and future generations where buildings and
infrastructure is an important part.

“We believe that the social dimension of sustainability will grow in importance
when planning and developing future societies. This is an area where NCC as a
construction and property developing company will take a larger role in the
future. To have a dialogue with our stakeholders, not only about the
environmental and economic parts but also on the social aspect will be a
prerequisite to be able to develop a profitable growth, says Christina Lindbäck,
SVP Corporate Sustainability NCC.

NCC has developed a broad range of customer offerings in the environmental
field, for example green asphalt, sustainable refurbishment, passive houses as
well as methods for reduction of CO2, for example a new fuel for reduction of
CO2 for production of asphalt, as well as other emissions.

Christina Lindbäck was appointed VP Environmental Affairs in NCC 2010. Prior to
that she held a position as Director of Environmental Affairs at the Ragn-Sells
Group, where she worked since 2002. In addition to this, Christina has a long
