Due to the snowfall in Britain, Heathrow Airport will not be accepting arrivals on Sunday, and will only manage a handful of departures. The airfield team continues to deal with the impacts of yesterday's bad weather and prepares the airport for a full re-opening on Monday.
Finnair has had to cancel four return flights from Helsinki to London today. The flight numbers are AY831 and AY832, AY833 and AY834, AY837 and AY838 as well as AY839 and AY840. Finnair will operate as soon as the airport opens.
Due to the bad weather, Finnair has also have had to cancel its return flight from Helsinki to Frankfurt and Paris.
Finnair apologizes for the distress this is causing customers and aims to reroute passengers on to other flights. A personal text message will be sent to the passengers of cancelled flights.
