In INET OTF (INET Nordic Test Environment), a background load is generated on Wednesday and Thursday evenings to ensure activity in the system during the evening failover testing. Until September 29th, the background load was run between 17:45 - 20:30 CET, with load peaks during 18:45 - 20:20 CET.
In order to allow functional testing without disturbance from background load, NASDAQ OMX will change the background load on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. As of Wednesday October 5th, the background load will be generated only during the failover testing at 17:45 - 18:30 CET. The amount of the messages will remain the same as before, about 200 messages/second. The peaks during 18:45 - 20:20 CET will be removed.
