Hakon Invest increases holding in Hemma

Hakon Invest is investing an additional SEK 45 M in Hemmabutikerna AB
by subscribing for newly issued shares. Hakon Invest's holding will
thus increase from 61% to 89% of the capital and voting rights in the
company. The remaining shares in Hemmabutikerna, which are one the
leading white goods retailers in Sweden, are owned by independent
retailers."Given the prevailing market conditions it feels good to be able to
guarantee a stable foundation for Hemmabutikerna's continuing change
program. The ongoing rationalization and cost-cutting program will
also create conditions for aggressive ventures over time," says Stein
Petter Ski, Senior Investment Manager at Hakon Invest.

The Board of Hemmabutikerna AB has estimated the capital requirement
on the basis of the adopted market plan and against the background of
the fact that 2009 is expected to be a weak year for the retail
sector. As a result of the new issue, Hemmabutikerna AB will receive
SEK 45 M in cash. The issue is directed to all owners of
Hemmabutikerna AB and in addition to Hakon Invest two small
shareholders also subscribed for the issue. The Board is of the
opinion that this additional capital combined with the company's
credit facility will be sufficient to guarantee the company's
long-term funding requirements.
